This week, show us a change in progress. This can be done in one or multiple photos — we’ll let you decide!
Kristin Snow has lived on the road full-time with her husband and three dogs for the last two years. She loves seeing as much of North America as possible from behind the wheel of an RV and photographing everything she can along the way. She blogs about their journey at snowmads.com.
Change is commonly defined as “to give a completely different form or appearance to; to transform.”
This may be a drawn-out process that’s difficult to capture in a single photograph, or a quick transformation that’s depicted in a snapshot. Perhaps it’s the change of seasons. A caterpillar becoming a butterfly. A shift in the weather.

Weather changing at Alaska’s Denali National Park, USA, by Kristin Snow.
At Denali National Park in Alaska, mountain ranges form their own weather systems, with sudden rain showers on one peak, while another nearby remains dry, or even sunny. Extreme changes in weather occur without warning, but lead to stunning and dramatic photographs.

Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don’t resist them; that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality. Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like.

Stunning photos, Kristen. The location for my ‘Change’ is equally remote… a ghost town, high in the Andes Mountains: https://jaspasjourney.wordpress.com/2015/09/25/sewell-chile-unesco-world-heritage-ghost-town/

Kristin, Thanks for the challenge. I also just wanted to say “hi” because I did a bit of looking around on your blog and am now following you on twitter because I am interested in the whole living out of an RV lifestyle. Anyway, here is my entry:http://bit.ly/1YG7dnh

Two really contrasting pictures of the same scene, there. Very effective.
I was tempted to show some coins in a purse, and then driving into a mall parking where we have car guards, and then showing an empty purse – they take all the change! But I resisted, and instead …

So many inspiring posts with the theme you chose! The changing lights of the night sky inspired my response ….. we have had the wonderful opportunity to view the aurora borealis up north, and my middle-of-the-night outing a few nights ago immediately came to mind when I read through your post. http://travelgardeneat.com/2015/09/25/weekly-photo-challenge-change-2/ — I look forward to exploring your blog further!
