Kristin Snow has lived on the road full-time with her husband and three dogs for the last two years. She loves seeing as much of North America as possible from behind the wheel of an RV and photographing everything she can along the way. She blogs about their journey at snowmads.com.

Change is commonly defined as “to give a completely different form or appearance to; to transform.”

This may be a drawn-out process that’s difficult to capture in a single photograph, or a quick transformation that’s depicted in a snapshot. Perhaps it’s the change of seasons. A caterpillar becoming a butterfly. A shift in the weather.

At Denali National Park in Alaska, mountain ranges form their own weather systems, with sudden rain showers on one peak, while another nearby remains dry, or even sunny. Extreme changes in weather occur without warning, but lead to stunning and dramatic photographs.

  19. I just love your blogs about RV life. My son and I recently drove 6000 miles in his 1960 RV – a converted Grehound bus.
    I began a new blog called land cruiser. My son lives on a sailboat in San Diego and Puerta Vallarta.
    I sold my house and most of the stuff in order to travel more.
    Your blog is inspiring. Thank you.

    1. Thank you, breechill! We started out in a 1965 Airstream trailer that we renovated, but we put so many miles on her that we felt she was better suited with someone who moved a little slower. She’s on a beach in Florida now, enjoying her retirement. 🙂
