Where WordPress bloggers support each other with feedback and advice.
Have you just published a new post and are dying for some feedback? Are you redesigning your blog and could use some layout or design advice from your more seasoned peers?
The Community Pool is for peer feedback and advice. Looking for more specific information? Check out some of these resources:
- Learn, a series of step-by-step tutorials for those just starting out.
- All our posts on building an audience and growing your traffic.
- If you’re stuck for inspiration, here are our Daily Prompts and other ideas for writing topics.
- A roundup of posts on blogging etiquette.
Tap into the wisdom of The Daily Post blogging community and leave your question here in the comments. Others can then click through and offer input either on your site, or in the comments here (feel free to indicate which you’d prefer).
Looking for more information about custom domains, advanced design options, and other enhancements for your blog? Find the WordPress.com plan that’s right for you.
Are you a new blogger looking to share your very first post? We have a special forum for bloggers just like you in our weekly First Friday posts.
To help us make the Community Pool a productive space for discussion, here are some tips and guidelines you might find useful:
- While you’re not required to, we encourage everyone who requests feedback to also reply to at least one or two other bloggers who need some help. Spread the love!
- The Community Pool comments section can get quite big — and starting duplicate threads doesn’t help. Thanks for not posting the same question more than once, as well as for not starting numerous threads in a single Pool.
- If you’re looking for quality feedback, be as specific as you can. Questions about a particular post tend to draw more comments than ones about entire blogs. Questions about specific design elements are more likely to be answered than ones asking for general layout advice.
- We discourage leaving links without a more substantive message or question. These are often overlooked by other bloggers, and we frequently remove them to make the comment reading experience smoother. Also note that including multiple links in your comment might automatically put it in the moderation queue, which will delay its publication.
- Please keep all comments civil and constructive. The idea is to have fun — it’s a pool, after all!
- To keep from losing your place in the comment thread while you visit others’ blogs, right-click on a link to open it in a new tab or window.
- If you haven’t looked at our Commenting Guidelines in a while, now might be a good time.
- No running on the deck.

A very nice piece, Sherina, thank you for sharing it. The photographs are lovely, leaves always make such a good subject don’t they? I was sweeping a pile up yesterday and thought about them, now damp and shriveled, but once green and proudly reaching sunwards, and how they each had a tale to tell, if only they could speak.

Hey nice work! I left a comment on the blog post. It’s well written and the photos are good too! The only thing I would say where it could be improved (and this is totally personal preference so you might want to ignore it completely) is that a few more photos of your walk would be nice, maybe one or two put in between the paragraphs? 🙂 x
LikeLiked by 5 people
Thank you! That’s a great piece of feedback, thank you for that. I had actually toyed with doing that in the post, but I thought I would have more photos than paragraphs. It’s good to know that that’s something you’d like to see, though! 🙂

Happy Monday Beautiful Bloggers!
It’s been six months since I got a second chance at life when my little sister donated a kidney to me. Each month on the anniversary, I take time to be grateful for this new life. This month, I focus my gratitude on food!
https://myinstructionmanual.com/2017/10/11/grateful-for-food/
I’d love to hear your thoughts here and on the post itself.
My transplant was what led to the creation of My Instruction Manual. The blog is going great and there are bigger things ahead. Next week, I’m launching the My Instruction Manual podcast! Then next month, the first My Instruction Manual book. I’m so grateful for all the amazing bloggers I have met here who are joining me on this journey!

Hello to my fellow creative friends!
I’ve been traveling down the inland waterways of the U.S. for the past month and a half on a sailboat, which is what most of my blog is about right now. My most recent blog post, just posted less than an hour ago, actually, is about a really neat marina that we stayed at. It was a very off the beaten path, interesting place. I’m working on my imagery in my writing and if you have any feedback for me I would love it. I would also be happy to return the favor!
