Welcome to First Friday, a weekly open thread where any new blogger can share a link to his or her very first post with the larger WordPress.com community. To share your first post with us, copy and paste the link right into a comment here. If you’re not new, you can still be a part of First Fridays: visit a link or two, and leave the blogger a like or comment.

  3. Hello bloggers! I’m a relatively new blogger 😊 I honestly just started heavily posting content on my blog. I would love if you would check out my blog ❤️️ My most recent post is the story about my car accident when I was 19 years old, I made my first ever YouTube video and it was a bit nerve wrecking to say the least but I’m trying to break boundaries and step out of my comfort zone. 😋😋😋

    1. Your content is good, but it was a bit hard to read. Your background is very busy, and with the red font color, some of it gets lost. You might want to rethink one or the other. Thanks for sharing!

    4. Congrats on your first post. I think you can make the background light and the main font dark , that way it will be easy to read. you will surprised to know that people prefer easier read than more knowledgeable one.When you want to highlight a point you can make it bold or underline or use different color. For instance when you were concluding, the heading could have been bold or a different color. Good luck

  9. Hey everyone! I’ve only been on WordPress for the last month and I’m writing posts about my travels as a student working in Paris and Madrid over the next year. As well as writing about the places I’ve visited and love, I hope to also give advice to people considering travelling or moving to these places. My most recent post is all about how to identify a Parisian pickpocket and making sure your valuables are safe while exploring the city. Let me know what you think! 🙂

      I noticed that you still have some placeholder text in your blog’s sidebar — you can remove or edit that by going to My Site > Customize > Widgets. Look for the Text Widget!

    2. Welcome!

      One thing — I noticed you’re using a lot of tags some of your posts. The WordPress.com Reader actually filters out posts that use more than 15 tags and categories (combined) as an anti-spam measure, so using this many tags actually makes it harder for folks to find your posts, which is sad! If you cut your tags down to the most relevant, you’ll actually draw more readers.

      2. On each post. Each individual post should have few than 15 tags and categories — e.g., you could have 13 tags and one category, seven tags and seven categories, etc. But the total should be under 15.
