    1. I was a little confused about the age of the narrator. At first it seemed like a young child, but then I gleaned it was a young girl, and then I wasn’t really sure because the name of your blog is “brandonsmommy” so I thought maybe it was an adult. I guess it was because I couldn’t really see the age/sex of the person in the picture, at least on my laptop. Hope this helps some!

    1. The name of your blog is difficult to pronounce and I don’t really know what it means. I like the look of your blog and your use of photos and bolded numbered items. I gathered, after some reading, that your blog is reflections about your journey as a religious leader. Maybe you might put an FAQ up explaining what makes up your exact role – Ordinand, I think it was? I’m not familiar with its meaning and probably others aren’t as well.

      1. Thank you Xina for your helpful comments. Bo-ru-ach-el-o-(h)im actually means ‘Come Spirit Of God’ in Hebrew. I like the idea of a FAQ page or glossary maybe, as you are correct some of the terms might be unfamiliar e.g. Ordinand = Trainee Vicar. Glad you liked other bits and took time to reply.

    1. As someone who doesn’t really use twitter I liked your article. I wasn’t aware you could schedule tweets. Even I may not use the tools you mentioned I liked that you gave good information about them. Good Article.

    2. That was cool! I may not be using the service any time soon, but I enjoyed how you covered it in a fun and simple way.
I noticed that your blog doesn’t feature the “Like” button for WordPress users, though, and it made me sad because I wanted to give you a “Like”.
      Keep up the good work.

    3. One thing I would add is the ability to bulk schedule in HootSuite. You can upload a CSV file of upto 50 tweets at a time which can be a huge time saver.

    4. Looks simple enough to follow. You missed a word here though “getting (the) hang of it.” I work as a part-time CSR so I appreciate the tip. Not that we need to schedule a great deal of tweets in our center. Hope I was able to help you.

    2. I have to commend you that you read and even blog about your recommended books. Good job! It also helps that there are pictures … do continue to write. I have not written anything on my favorite books, so I envy you for the effort of sharing yours with everyone. Mabuhay (this is a Filipino greeting, which means “Long live!”)
Hope you can also check my blog. It just has lots of pictures and some short stories.

  1. This question involves layout, I can’t seem to add a follow me on Pinterest button to my post pages, I have a generic one, I just copied and pasted my address, but it looks so unprofessional, any ideas? Thankyou!

    1. I don’t know if you are aware bu the follow me on pinterest link you posted is not actually a link you can click on. Are wanting people to be able to clink on it?

    1. Hi,
I love the look of your blog!
The only thing I saw was a few spelling errors. Do you use spell check? Also, the title “The Hidding Place” is that meant hiding, as in hide and seek? If so, it would be “Hiding.” Please let me know if this is what you were going for! =) Overall, your blog is really nice, and I enjoy your writing.

You have some minor errors in your grammar, proof read. These always, ALWAYS occur when we type and post without re-reading. I cannot tell you how many times I’ve rushed to edit an error before someone else pointed out. The proofread option by WordPress is pretty good.

        Happy blogging!

    1. I liked what you have written but feel that you could have written more. You know, personalized it a bit? At the moment, it is well written yet not connecting or reeling me in as a reader. Maybe a personal anecdote? Or a few lines in the first person?

      I loved your site layout!

    1. Good post. I would suggest getting your “about” page updated before posting more. I like to know more about the person before reading their posts. When I started my “about” page I just had a quick introductory paragraph but targeted myself with adding a little but more each day. Hope that helps 🙂

    1. You titled the post realiz(s)ations but I am not sure what the realizations are. I see that you compared American and British language which was interesting to read, but I think the title threw me off a little.

  4. Hi, I’m new. And being a geek who uses tumblr, I’ve come across a story idea where the main character in a book falls in love with the reader. Not being a professional writer, I simply played around with the idea. The following link is my introduction. Comments? Any feedback would be amazing. Thanks!

If this link doesn’t work, let me know. You might have to copy and paste it… ? Like I said, I started my WordPress yesterday, so I’m a little unsure about methods.

  6. So I’m new. Er. Ish. I’ve just been learning as I go. I keep reading about keywords and their importance, and I have no idea. I’d also like to learn how to put (don’t laugh, I’m slow) a “related articles” section at the bottom and learn how to do pingbacks. There is just so much to learn!
Any other advice would really be appreciated, please take a quick peak? Thanks!

    1. I think you’re off to a good start for a new blog, but if you’re trying to get your writing to “take off,” as you say, it might help to give your audience some sense of what you’re trying to do with your blog. For instance, I like your title, but I really have no idea what it means based on what you’ve written so far. You’ll probably attract more repeat readers if you can give them a handle to connect with, an idea of what to expect they’ll get when they “follow” you. Does that make sense? Even if you just say it’s a random hodgepodge of things from your life, that gives us an idea of what you’re trying to do. Or if you have a more focused niche you want to fill, share that instead.
I hope that helps! Keep it up!
