Describe a perfect meal

Topic #186:

Describe a perfect meal. What will you eat? Who is there? Are you outside, or inside with a view? A view of what? It can be an imagined place and meal, or a real experience you want to have someday.

    1. I certainly agree with you. It’s not about the food, it’s about the feeling of love and joy that should prevail over the table. If these feelings are present, the food can be as simple as possible, it would still make a great meal for me,

  1. I can see it.
Under the moon light, seated on the wooden floor, with a low table with a plate of sashimi. Next to it will be a cup of warm green tea that never runs low. Looking skywards at the moon, it will be accompanied by a slight tinge of flower petals floating across. The night breeze all mine to enjoy. Forgetting there is a concept called people, work and tomorrow.
I will enjoy this perfect meal one day.

  2. Anything on a plate swathed in cheese and butter. Preferably eaten by the ocean under heat lamps, with a flamenco guitarist and dancers to amuse and oysters…and tiramisu….and a nap on the beach only to come back and keep eating for 3 hours.

  3. It should be healthy and corresponds to the pyramid. The pyramid consists of the amount of food that we need to eat and the amount of food that only our body needs to function well. Too much is not good for our body and need to be considered as an excess waste. As a person, I do not look for meal as if it is perfect or not. Anything goes with me as long as it is food. I’m not choosy. I’m one of the cowboys in town. lol

  4. A picnic beside the pond in the moonlight.Lights floating in the water and hanging in the weeping willow trees. My cozy Indian blanket for us to relax on.A nice bottle of wine to enjoy along with the sceenery and atmosphere.Soft music playing.Cheese and fruit to nibble.A nice juicy steak with a twice baked potato.Nicely toasted potato rolls with butter.Shrimp with garlic butter sauce and a nice lobster tail.A nice salad with ranch dressing(for me).Whatever dressing he would like for his.And then, a slice of German chocalate cake with a scoop of butter pecan icecream!Sounds perfect enough for me!

  5. a perfect meal…starts with the whole experience of inviting my friends/family over – shopping the menu for them ,creating a lavish spread under a tree -one sunday afternoon at a garden villa in tuscany, enjoying wine and bread ,olives, cheese with them, laughing, sharing good moments together…with some i love in a swiss chalet/in the alps – with red wine and cheese in front of a fireplace…..and then i could go on and on…

  6. Okay. I have been bought a beautiful dress with matching shoes. I look great. I am in a restaurant with a view of the sea. The sun is going down slowly and I am enjoying wonderful conversation with an intelligent gentleman. I am eating scallops, muscles, and lobster. The room is slightly rustic with gentle lighting and there are some beautiful flowers on the table. Damien Rice is playing quietly in the background. The hansom, intelligent, caring, gentleman will then ask me the question I have always wanted. “Ere darling do you want that last scallop?”. No only joking. This person wants to be with me forever. This meal will be remembered forever and I will revisit the place to celebrate. Soppy shit Huh?.

  7. The perfect meal would be outside a porch on the caribean, watching the waves wash over the white sands of the shore,it would be early morning, the waiter would have came with the food ten minutes ago but I wait for the coffee to cool before I wake my wife up,the birds would be singing sofly and the breeze would be slightly warm, thiS would be quiet time for me,after I would wake my wife and After she prepared herself we would lift the tray, underneath would be fruits and vegetables, eggs and turkey bacon for her sausage for me.then we would pray thanking God for the day and his creation. And talk in between Enjoying our meal.that would be perfect.

  8. A perfect meal for me will be one where I can go back to the good old age days!! That is no metal, no cutlery and just eat each morsel, each bite with my fingers and savor the taste of everything. Eating with one’s fingers adds more taste to the food and that is what I regard as a good meal and I can only do that with close friends and family who will put the cutlery aside and do the same, eat with their fingers!!!!

  9. As has been mentioned a few times already, a perfect meal is less about the food and more about the company and the ambience. As for me, the perfect meal would be the one that I would have with the Dalai Lama at Lhasa in Tibet. Overseeing the shimmering lake and underneath the snow covered mountain tops with haunting Buddhist chants for music….

  10. A perfect meal means when the whole family sits together on the table, and have their food without any hurry or getting busy with something afterwards. I had this experience.
