New to The Daily Post? Whether you’re a beginner or a professional, you’re invited to get involved in our Weekly Photo Challenge to help you meet your blogging goals and give you another way to take part in Post a Day / Post a Week. Everyone is welcome to participate, even if your blog isn’t about photography.

Here’s how it works:

1. Each week, we’ll provide a theme for creative inspiration. You take photographs based on your interpretation of the theme, and post them on your blog anytime before the following Friday when the next photo theme will be announced.

2. To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “Weekly Photo Challenge: (theme of the week)” and be sure to use the “postaday″ tag.

3. Subscribe to The Daily Post so that you don’t miss out on weekly challenge announcements. Sign up via the email subscription link in the sidebar or RSS

  2. This is a really good photo expressing togetherness. Maybe I’ll get one up. This challenge is a great idea to help us post more regularly. When I created my blog, I really didn’t have a goal to post everyday or every week, not even every month. It was just to record and share my experiences abroad. However, it usually takes a long time for me to get a post done the way I want because I like to write (maybe too much). So, I end up spending a lot of time writing and posting my media for posts. Whenever, I have pictures, I usually want to tell the story about them which which can be time-consuming if I really want to do a good job and not just write something quick just to have another post. What I like about this challenge is that I can post a photo and not have to necessarily spend so much time to tell a story because you in a sense give us the theme which can serve to tell the story for the saying does go: “A picture is worth a thousand words”. So, thanks again for such an awesome idea, WordPress :-)

  3. It is always nice when good things come together.
