Happy New Year! Welcome to the first Weekly Photo Challenge of 2013!

Resolved. This is that time of year, isn’t it? Full of resolutions and good intentions. I resolved to get in a run on January 1st – this is a photo post-run. Spoiler: it was a good one! Why not share a photo which represents one of your New Year’s resolutions? If you don’t make them, what about sharing a photo which represents something you’d like to get better at in photography this year?

Share a picture which means RESOLVED to you!

Also, I’ll be leaving the 2012 Year in Pictures post open through the weekend if you want to add your post in last-minute!

I can’t wait to see what you come up with!

New to The Daily Post? Whether you’re a beginner or a professional, you’re invited to get involved in our Weekly Photo Challenge to help you meet your blogging goals and give you another way to take part in Post a Day / Post a Week. Everyone is welcome to participate, even if your blog isn’t about photography.

Here’s how it works:

1. Each week, we’ll provide a theme for creative inspiration. You take photographs based on your interpretation of the theme, and post them on your blog (a new post!) anytime before the following Friday when the next photo theme will be announced.

2. To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “Weekly Photo Challenge: (theme of the week)” and be sure to use the “postaday″ tag.

3. Subscribe to The Daily Post so that you don’t miss out on weekly challenge announcements. Sign up via the email subscription link in the sidebar or RSS.

  1. I am participating in Project 52 this year. I hope it helps me photography-wise, plus I get to share by posting each week. :-) Looks like you smashed the run, Sara. Yay!

  2. Very good idea… now it’s the best time to tackle some long-wished resolutions, right? Mine? Trying to blog better, more consistently… this year, I’ll see if i can abide by a weekly schedule.. . with at least a post a week, which I’m calling “52 Bolivian Sundays”, my plan to share my [photo] impressions about our surroundings, the culture we’re currently calling ‘ours’, the place we’ll call home for the next year and a half… Hopefully, I’ll stick to the plan, and have a photo post out every Sunday… beginning on Jan 6… ‘all Kings Day’…
Thanks for keeping up with the weekly photo challenge in 2013… great motivation to blog… :o

      1. It’s finally on!… A couple of hours before it’s Sunday here, but hey, the intention is good… getting my first ‘Sunday post’ on a late Saturday evening… that’s a start! :o

      1. Finally made it, Sara. So glad again you left it open. The extra time really helped! Working between the iPad, iPhone, and computer presented me with a problem. More so this time as I lost one my final draft by refreshing an older draft on another device. I already closed out the updated one! I learned now to keep the drafts open while I’m working between devices! I’ve done this before. Hopefully learned my lesson this time!
        Have a great weekend!
        Now onto Resolved!
