On the Move

Whether on foot, in a kayak, or on a train, we can document our lives easily. More than ever, the moments of our in-betweens are photo-worthy and shareable.

I recently sifted through my photos and noticed a common thread: I’m often in transit and on the go, which makes sense since I take nearly all of my images with an iPhone these days. Whether on foot, in a kayak, or on a train, we can document our lives easily. More than ever, the moments of our in-betweens are photo-worthy and shareable.

For this week’s photo challenge, share your interpretation of “on the move.” You can be the subject of your image, or you might want to experiment with movement or transportation in a different way. You can share a single image, or include more than one, like in this tiled gallery:

Do you use the WordPress app on your phone or tablet? Here’s another level to the challenge: snap your photographs from your mobile device when you’re out and about, and upload and publish your submissions from the app.

If you don’t have the app yet, download WordPress for iOS or WordPress for Android. For app basics, read “Blogging on the Go.”

  1. I am excited about this one! Now how to interpret it. I love photographing movement, but I have a few ideas having more to do with being able to visit multiple places in a quick time period. :-)

    1. I really like them too – the variety – and well, my fabs are the two tips of the kayaks right below the two tips of the sandals and shoes – but nice collage. :) now I am thinking of what to contribute….. hmmm

  2. I love pictures of movement. It is kind of an oxymoron. Taking a picture of any moving object is like freezing a movement in time forever. Thought provoking as always!
