I know what you mean, after having spinal cord surgery on my neck. Doctors say my mind is real sharp, even though the rest of me may not be hundred percent. My mind seems to be working just fine. To the subject of public speaking, seems funny how the brain trips on that subject.
I will keep my peace but not my tongue ,,,, uhmmm, huh? I think I lost the trail!!
I really enjoy the Weekly Photo Challenge that serves as a forum to introduce me to a diversity of new photographers. Kudos!

Like the articles – WP needs private messaging….ummm not sure, but I like WordPress better than Facebbok, Tumblr and Blogger.

While only a blogger for three months, I enjoyed blogging so much and you guys ROCK! Blogging has given me a courage I lacked for years to publicize my writings. I love my little Lantern! And I love the daily post … as I writer I would not mind seeing literary/poetry prompts, but that is something that you may not find useful.

I agree with Daniela. It would be really nice to have some poetry prompts or even a weekly poetry challenge. It could be a ton of fun and really bring a group of bloggers together that might not have had connection otherwise. Thanks for asking for our opinions!

I completed the survey – but now have thought of a topic (of course) – Can someone explain how file space is used by media? Does a photo start counting when you pull it into the library, or when you post it? If you post the same photo multiple times (or use it as the featured/banner image) does it use space again? How do file size selections in the library affect usage? And do slideshows and galleries use more space that just posting the photos? If you add a slideshow of post photos to the bottom of the pot, does that double the usage? Just trying to plan ahead….. Thanks!
I just missed the survey, but as a fellow blogger I’ll answer The Retiring Sort.
The file starts counting when you upload it to your library, once it’s there you can post it multiple times – the file size still stays the same.
Earlier I’ve written a post about cropping and resizing images (http://cardinalguzman.wordpress.com/2012/04/22/blogging-tips-crop-resize-your-photos/). Resizing images is goodd, not only for the reasons that I wrote about in the post, but it will also benefit you because you’ll be able to put more photos into your library without using up your space.
Slideshows and galleries are just simple coding, so it shouldn’t take up any more space than the photos itself.

You have given me and many others a nice place to meet, to express, and quite possibly to change the world to be a better place.
I like the idea of poetry and quote prompts. Not sure what private messaging is but if it self-explanatory, then I think it’s a good idea. Another blogger and I have the same theme and we were helping each other out with design. We used the comments section. Private messaging would have been nice.

Hi folks, I have been blogging for a while, but now I just want to have a go at writing short stories any ideas/
You’re providing a great service for those of us that used to yell at the television and say, “these people are crazy!”. Now we can write our own blogs and get yelled at by others when we’re way off base. Although my blog – One Businessman’s Perspective … is long, I appreciate the therapeutic value of writing and sharing versus yelling.
One thing I would like to see added is the ability to more effectively search by image content.
