50 years!
At this stage in my life, I would prefer to have the $50 million. This way I could pay off every financial obligation that I have and not leave my kids holding the bag. This will help them to improve their lives as well as provide for their future families.
Easy! 50 (and 500 if posibble) more years!

Oh for sure the money! Just think of the adventures I could embark upon, and the WHOLE PAGE of tick boxes could be ticked instead of the paultry one or two, besides…. whats the use of money when your 150 and f****d
I would want to know WHERE and HOW I would spend 50 extra years . . . I wouldn’t want to be in jail, in the hospital, or suffering with ill health.

I’d rather have the time – money is nifty, but time is one resource you can’t ever get back. Think of the things you could do with fifty more years!
Show me the moneeeee! Being broke is bad enough, being old AND broke, unbearable.
The money. I could do everything I want to do with life. What would an extra 50 years do me if my mental and physical health is not guaranteed.
This is a real toughie — could I take 1/2 of both and be happy? I know I won’t live but maybe….another 10 to 15 years…..because of health reasons, but to be able to say 25 years more from today PLUS 25 million dollars….would see me secure. I could buy that small dream home – easily acessable for me (handi -capped) and over the years…fill it with all the oldish antique furniture that I like and could go traveling around just to find them, hit alot of the bed and Breakfast Inns that I see ads for back east- ride the Amtrak to get there -maybe even have my own car!
go to a World series game, or to all of them for matter……..follow that(Guy) around to all his eating places that the food looks so good…and of course— set up a collage accounts for all my Grand-kids!

Wow, this is a tough one. Can I steal Bonnie’s answer? LOL… I’d have to say that I’d take the 50 million dollars knowing what I could make that money do in my life, the life of some family members, friends, and people in need. It would give me the opportunity to pursue what I dream of doing now while I am still in the frame of mind and health to do so.

So, the Daily Question today is, “Would you rather have $50 million or live for an extra 50 years?” Hmm, this is hard. They say time is money. But you may not be able to make $50 million in 50 years when you are like 80, or at least it’s really hard to make that much at that age. And also, if you have a lot of money when you are young, a lot of people will propose to you, some of them won’t even like you for who you are, they’ll just want the money. Then they divorce you and take the money. Haha… that’s my vision of every failed rich marriage. Although I could use the $50 million on a face job… but then again, that’s too much for the removal of acne. But, if I do somehow get $50 million. I’d probably just donate $48.5 million to charities and keep $1.5 million. That should be enough for a while, a long while. But if I could live for an extra 50 years, I would have to live through the death of my spouse, if I get one, which I probably won’t. Well, I’ll have to live through the death of my dearest friends and family. My life would be filled with sadness either way. So, I pick neither.
No mean 50 yrs in old age it just lk walk on da thorns wth bear feet. Better get money en spandng. It better life.
I think I’d go with the $50 million, to be honest. The amount of good that can be produced with that, all around the world, would be phenomenal. Not to mention, the rate science is going now, the average lifespan will increase to at least 100 in the well-developed countries before long.
This ones an easy one! I just wrote a post on whether I would rather read minds or live forever and I chose live forever. I want to see how we as humans evolve and what technology will be like and the future of the planet.. But I was talking about being alive forever so a mere 50 years extra on my life as it is, is poor in comparison of having $50 Million now imagining what good could be done with that as well as my finances and lifestyle being much improved. So I’d take the money.
To be truly honest the $50 easy, am only human
$50M! Let’s be practical tho.. Better live a short-lived-yet-well-enjoyed life than having a long one working your ass off.
That $50 M just might be used to help me live another 50 years ~ win, win situation!
For me it would have to be 50 extra years to spend with my loved ones. Love is worth much more that any amount of money.
$50 million… I don’t care about living longer – I will be happy with whatever I get. I would give half the money to childhood cancer research though!
Or maybe more! I don’t need 25 million either. But I could buy a whole new wardrobe every season. And spoil my niece and whoever else comes along. Travel to Italy. Pay off my credit card and student loans

perfectly natural to experience any and all experience we choose , including financial abundance , and health , happiness , probably even longer living . x

I would take the money. Yes money doesn’t help with everything, but the amount of good that I could do with that money would make it worth it to me. I wouldn’t want to live for an extra 50 years because you don’t know what you’re going to see. Things are only going to get worse. With the money I could see the world, allow my family to see the world and help make a difference in so many peoples lives that truly need it.
I’d take the years anyday! To see the world for an extra 50 years, how we might evolve, what might happen to our planet…fascinating.

I wouldn’t choose 50 extra years, unless they were 50 healthy extra years. So I guess I’ll have to live with $50,000,000. Oh, well. We can’t always get what we want!

Depends, if it is an extra 50 of being young then yes, otherwise the choice is obvious especially to someone who wants to attend university for a Phd.

If I live an extra 50 years, in good health, of course, I have the option to MAKE the 50 million if I needed them. But would I really need the millions ? I would soon realize the meaninglessness of making millions.
Both if it was possible. But if I had to choose I would wanna live for an extra 50 years because I enjoy my life and don’t need money to do that
