I could have sworn I left a reply to this already. But I’m in. It’ll be my first try and I’m going to write a new genre for me (which is easy since I only have one published short story)! I will be happy to have all the support I can find! And I will be happy to provide support to anyone who wants to write “together” during Google hangouts!

You can write as much as you want and are encouraged to continue after November, but the challenge is to write a NEW novel and get in at LEAST 50,000 words by the end of November. I did it last year. The last 10,000 words were the hardest. I started getting too involved and that slowed down my writing.

I did NaNoWriMo last year and did some of my best writing ever! It’s so freeing to write without editing or worrying if your work is “good enough.” I don’t know how I’ll find the time, but I plan on NaNoing again this year.

I think I actually will participate. It helps to vent some things inside my head out. Even if it isn’t quality work it will give me the challenge to keep focused and try for the goal of 50 thousand words.

As a writer I have a few novels out on the market. My problem is writing a novel with only 50,000 words. Is the word count etched in stone or can I do a regular full length novel. The last novel I published had 105,000 words and I wrote it in 24 days.
Anyway, I want to say good luck to all the participants. Oh yeah, I was looking at the download rules. I have no clue what the heck the format is supposed to be. Maybe someone will clue me in.

This is the first time I’ve come across this and I’m very tempted to participate, but strangely nervous. Need to get my thinking hat on if i plan to do it.
