Pick a blog or blog post you enjoy and blog about it.

Topic #123:

Pick a blog or blog post you enjoy and write a post about it.

Tip: By writing about another blogger, and including a link to their blog, you’ll show up in their pings, and if what you write is interesting, odds are good they’ll check out your blog too. Don’t abuse this, no one likes to feel spammed, but if you want more traffic, genuinely writing about blogs or posts on other blogs you enjoy can only help draw attention your way.

  1. great topic! I decided to add that segment to my blog just a few days ago. I’m going to write about the blogs I frequently follow every week. I follow 11 blogs, so this thing shouldn’t take me more than 11 weeks, if I’m faithful 😉

  3. My choice won’t result in the blog author checking out my site but I’m OK with that. The author has way too much going on to be concerned with who’s linking to his blog. Regardless, I think this is a blog that everyone should visit with regularity. The content is updated daily and I find it both inspirational and motivational. It’s the first thing I look for each day when I open up my Google Reader.

  5. Every Thursday, I feature an interview with a fellow blogger and showcase their blog for others to read and follow. I’ve met many terrific people that way and look forward to doing more . If you’d like to be featured or have a special cause or creative skill to share, stop by my blog and introduce yourself. I’m always looking for new people to feature and it’s all positive. 🙂
Last week’s feature was:Kimmie of Life Balanced: A Chosen Path

Vocês mesmos sugeriram para visitarmos outros blogs. Tudo bem daqui para frente não entrarei mais, só de amigos!
Detalhe: Sempre deixo o meu nome nos comentários não sou spam!!

  7. After writing my recommendation in yesterday’s post I had a reader share a link to a post that inspires them daily. I clicked over to check out that site and the next thing I knew 90 minutes of my evening disappeared as I clicked on link after link of truly inspirational writing. It had such an immediate impact on me that I wrote another post just on this recommended site. Check it out.

  8. Results of my research of WordPress Blogs today – 99.99% of time, everyone is following “Manners for the New Millennium” but everyone is free to use it to help others (who are breaking at least one of the Ten Commandments of Computer Ethics, in their rersearch). A good deed never goes waste (you may be rewarded for your effort of helping someone, by a random blogger by mystical ways of working of the Ruler of this Universe, known by many as the Lord of Humans & Non-Humans).
    Manners for the New Millennium
As a general guideline, we like the Ten Commandments for Computer Ethics written by Arlene Rinaldi at Florida Atlantic University.
    Take a look below:
    1. Thou shalt not use a computer to harm other people.
    2. Thou shalt not interfere with other people’s computer work.
    3. Thou shalt not snoop around in other people’s files.
    4. Thou shalt not use a computer to steal.
    5. Thou shalt not use a computer to bear false witness.
    6. Thou shalt not use or copy software for which you have not paid.
    7. Thou shalt not use other people’s computer resources without authorization.
    8. Thou shalt not appropriate other people’s intellectual output.
    9. Thou shalt think about the social consequences of the program you write.
    10. Thou shalt use a computer in ways that show consideration and respect.

  9. Thanks for suggesting this topic! It’s helped me discover this amazing blog entry that reassured me that I wasn’t alone in my addiction (don’t worry, it’s not really anything serious, not connected to any sort of substance abuse!). Here’s the linky: http://wp.me/p1hRfH-hH
