Where do you find acceptance? For your ideas? For the secret notions you have for who you really want to be? Or think you are? Who are the friends, family or co-workers who are most accepting of your true self? And how do they demonstrate their acceptance? What is different about how they treat you than other people?

My family accept me.
The most accepting, non judgmental people I have ever come across are in my 12 step program. I have shared so much of myself with these people knowing for sure that the things I have shared will go no further. No matter what I share it stays right there.
God, my family and spouse all accept me as I am.

I find acceptance in the blogsphere. The blogsphere is full of friendly faces, humble folk without temptation. So come on down to the blogsphere and meet some friends of mine!
THE RULE IS SIMPLE! EVERY HUMAN FINDS IT EASY TO BELONG WHERE HE OR SHE IS VALUED. SO I WOULD SAY THE VALUE ANY ENVIROMENT PLACES ON MY PERSONALITY DETERMINES MY STAY OR DEPARTURE.
In my writer’s group and at writer’s conventions. No one thinks someone, who is not in their 20s anymore, is weird if you like skull-covered clothing and can’t get enough Living Dead dolls or toy robots. It’s OK to be a kid forever in the horror/sci-fi field. My writer’s group covers all genres from historical fiction to poetry to flash fiction to the undefinable – the most accepting, nonjudgmental group of people I’ve ever had the pleasure to know!
I find acceptance in my heart first. That’s the most important place to go to. What others think are just their opinion and everybody has a right to theirs.

The question is where do I find acceptance and the simple answer is in my heart, in my soul, in my brain. I have lived many years, have experienced many things, and I have learned that life is worth living 1 second at a time and that I will do what is right because it is right. That at the end of the day when I look in the mirror I will be proud of the person I see in the reflection.

I didnt really feel this appealed to me, i dont think i have had a problem with acceptance. i accept myself as i am and if people dont like it then its their problem.

Se sou aceita com as minhas idéias pelas pessoas, no meu blog eu sei que sou, por estar muito feliz com ele. Desde que comecei e até o dia de hoje noto uma diferença enorme, começaram a notar que existo.
Sou uma pessoa muito franca, falo tudo que penso, nada tenho a esconder.
Se gostam de mim pelo que sou, ótimo, se não paciência sou assim e não mudarei.

Good question. Personally, I do not worry about “social acceptance”. I live my life as I wish to, not how others may wish me to live it.
I guess we will find out when we hit the local supermarket as a family!

i find acceptance in myself and my friends, actually think i got influence over self and others people just need to get sense kicked in any particular idea so as to see the point and they will accept and ok apart from the stubborn ones or the critical thinkers
