I’m sure you riddled it with typos on purpose to see if anyone catches them and corrects them, right?
I really like this idea of posting every day. I try to post in my blog every day, or if I skip a day, I do two the next day. However, if this is supposed to be a template post for other bloggers, you should fix a lot of the spelling and grammar mistakes.
Some real obvious ones:
- In the first paragraph, “i” should be capitalized.
- In the second paragraph, the last sentence is a fragment. Use a comma to link it with the previous sentence.
- In the third paragraph, “read” instead of “ready.” And I’d say “comments, likes, and good will.”
There’s no better way to give motivation to bloggers than with good spelling and grammar!

I would love to write one, but I’m already way too busy! Plus, I’m a musician. Grammar is just a hobby of mine. But I do agree that it would be a good idea!
There is nothing worse then grammar nazi’s.

“Similar” not “Similiar” . . . Though, I pasted the text as-is just for a nice contrast.
I’m keen on spelling and grammar too. How an article/post is written is as important as what is written.

Would it be an idea to tag every post with the appropriate tag (once a day/week) from the point one joins so that at the end of the year you can filter the posts by tag and see if you have met your goal. Just an idea!!??

I am going to give this ago, I have not long restarted blogging after a 3yr break, and I am trying to embrace it! Hopefully I will be inspired to keep going with it
I love posting my reviews and connecting with authors and writers everyday. posting daily is fun and writing articles on different topics too
Great gift. I have been writing my Blog since July 2009 and seem to have been ‘trapped’ (in the nicest possible way) into trying to write everyday – because that’s how it’s been and now I have created that expectation for my readers.
So anything that helps me through those more difficult days is welcome!

I want to join in but I’m pretty sure I’ll fail. There’s just no way I’ll have the time to post something (interesting that is) every day. I think I might join in the post a week instead. I’ll write as often as I can, but the minimum of one a week instead of one a day seems more realistic to me.

Sounds like a great idea. I have been trying to keep up at least a few days a week. Still trying to learn more about wordpress technology and be able to get my blog the way I want it. Wonder if I should create a new blog just for this Daily or Weekly post challenge!

This is a great idea… Two technical questions…
Will the global tagging work for WordPress blogs not hosted on WordPress.com as I have a few and the best one for me to write this style of content from would be from outside WordPress.com? – ie. My self-hosted blog is NLP for Your Emergence
Also, the tags postaday2011 or postaweek2011 seem to be merged in the example above – are we meant to use one or the other as separate distinct tags depending on how frequently we blog?

If this is anything like that Post-A-Note challenge, I wasn’t any good at that either.
I have several blogs on various topics … so with all my other commitments, there’s no way I could post everyday to each blog. But this idea does inspire me to try posting to at least one blog everyday (probably alternating between them). So maybe it’ll be more like a Post-A-Week challenge multiplied by seven.

I post everyday for years……so this is not really a challenge to me. Might be nice if there is a logo for this that you can place in your widgets/sidebar instead of a post.
Mother – This is facing up to your fears and deamons. Mother did tell me that they were concerned as I had a difficult birth.
I can’t remember – that’s my greatest problem. It is followed by words and letters floating across the page from all directions, so I don’t see the grammer and spellings which you made. So your “hand holding” conquers my greatest deamon fears.

I’ve already been posting a new painting every day since August 1, and will continue to post a daily painting on afarnsworthaday.wordpress.com during 2011.
I’ve been painting for over forty years, and this is the most fun I’ve had since my early days. I recommend a daily blog, whether you’re a writer a painter, expert or hobbyist.
Passion plus discipline make for a great combination.
If you’re having a hard time getting started, just set a one or two week goal of daily blogging. By then you could have a great, positive, new habit.
p.s. I’ve also been posting a photo a day on whenapaintersnaps.com for about three years, now.
Now I’m off to sign up for postaday2011, and tomorrow, I’ll post a notice.

Je vais faire de mon mieux, mais j’ai plusieurs blogs qui s’entrecroisent sur WordPress et il n’est pas possible de publier un article sur chaque blog. Mais j’en ai créé un de référence qui recense tous les billets que je mets sur les autres. Et c’est difficile aussi, d’obtenir des réactions, sauf parfois sur facebook.

Have been blogging (blooming long essays) every day for last two months, often last thing at night (good for ideas, a bit late for best prose), in the service of my book-by-blog. Want to make it easier for myself to write less as more (box makes it hard to know how much have written while still writing, and how it will look en masse on one’s page).
Maybe your daily post reminders might provide occasional reminders of display personalisation tips that might make one’s blog-site seem serious sense while also sensible of potential readers’ and writers’ time and mental space constraints. Happy New Year to all WordPress happiness engineers!

I’m doing a 52 week challenge with photography, so I promise to blog once a week about that project and post the photos I take along with it…how’s that?
I blogged every day for the past year and a half (with very few exceptions) and found at the end of 500 posts that I had written about 200,000 words. There is nothing like discovering that to realize what a body of work you have created.

I managed 200+ posts last year, but it was a serious push on my part to get them out. So I’m in for the postaday2011 as a challenge that of course I’m already worried I won’t manage to meet.

With all my other writing , work and other commitments I don’t think I can do daily. I had already resolved to do three times a week and even then that can be challenging, so I’m signing up for the once a week challenge, if I can do more I will.
